The Legends of Mernac (www.mernac.com), a high-fantasy writing and art community has just announced they are collectively writing a fantasy book where they are seeking to portray a real game guild (EQ, WOW, DAOC, GUILD WARS and the like) and a character from that guild as a hero in the book.

They are also willing to make a contribution to the game guild that is selected.

I hope that you guild will participate. It could be fun. We are also actively looking to add “in game” art to our site (all stories are illustrated by art). We are hoping the some Guilds will have a guild event where they “stage” a scene from one of the many stories on Mernac and submit it as and illustration for the story. – one (or several) of your guild members would do a screen shot capture during you next raid – LOL, talk about a fun side effect of a raid! – your guild members will love it! – lights, camera Action!
