SOF Type 3 augs

Well i just did 2 tasks from everfrost wayfarers and got my 5% dodge mod. For anyone who is unaware of this especially tanks there is also and 8% dodge mod aug as well and the task are rather easy to accomplish just takes time. Even though i have 5% if anyone wants to do sometime id be glad to help out. Note these augs go in type3 slots good for the sof rings/ears or other items u may have.

any see inviso augs? I read where you can take a faerune item and add an aug then see SoS

I saw a posting and it may have been on the bertoxx board where a rogue could see themself. They said the used a Faerune item (not exactly sure if it was that but it already had seeinviso) they then used a type 3 aug I believe as I recall something about a ldon aug and they could see themself with SoS on. I don't know if its true but they said they could see the mobs in BMK that had SoS.

I can't remember if its an ldon or don aug that I used, but I put it into the Faerune item that I had and now I can see the shades in HoS crypt area, also there are named mobs in Crystallos that you can see that are SOS, and you can see all your little sos rogue friends.

ps I did this to an item I don't use except when I want to see SOS creatures. Most people I have found that use this are rogues (scouting for named etc), and pullers so that they can see it, and even they switch out items to utilize it.

I believe its a bug or something. You can buy the aug from the BB camp. I don't believe it is intended to see SoS but if you have an existing see inviso and add the ldon aug it works. I need to find the link and will post it.

As Necreta has pointed out you *MUST* put the augment into the item that *already* has Faerune in it. I use the Cloak of the Spirit Hunter (with a slot 7 auggie spot), and then I put in an Intricate Prism of Perception. I think its from the Tak LDON's. (Nro?)
I have not tested if this works with any AA ability like being able to see invis innately if it works, but I know for a fact it does not work if you have faerune in two seperate items or even faerune and see invis in two seperate items.

Ohh good catch fulic, I was always under the impression they had to be in the same item, but you are right. As long as you have an item with worn see invis/faerune, and an aug with see invis, you can see SOS. (the aug does not have to be in the item that has the worn see invis/Faerune)
